“Imparts the kind of dark beauty that was once the trademark tonality of the Pixies’ first two full lengths; albeit as though here viewed through the lazy eyed viewfinder of Pavement. “ LOSING TODAY
“Instantly accessible, like a less quirky take on The Modern Lovers and we all know that there is nothing wrong with that” – GREEN MAN MUSIC
“Engaging, human, honest and well crafted” - INCENDARY
“A man on a mission to provide quality, and quantity, of top quality music” – MOON AND BACK
“Music that lulls you into a relaxed state of mind” – BIG IN THE GAME
Whilst previous recordings have been DIY productions, Santiago felt this album deserved studio time and attention to capture his new enlarged sound. Recalling a chance conversation with Mauro Pawlowski (Evil Superstars, dEUS) a few years ago in which Pawlowski stated Pascal Deweze (Metal Molly, Sukilove) was “his main man with the right studio”, Santiago sent his demos to Studio Jezus. Deweze liked the demos and between them they managed to enlist the very best Belgian and Dutch musicians to record the album, including Jezus Factory label mates Dave Schroyen (Evil Superstars, Millionaire, Creature with the Atom Brain) and Chantal Acda (True Bypass, Sleeping Dog). All these fantastic artists also feature on the album artwork.
